Traditional 4-star hotel located just off the famous Champs-Elysées (8th Arrondissement) and a few steps from the grand Arc de Triomphe. This haven of serenity boasts a truly exceptional and easily accessible location, and is a marvel of Empire-style decoration. The hotel is ideally situated just a few steps away from the Place de l'Etoile and the RER & metro station for quick and easy access in and around Paris. Descend its stately marble staircases and take yourself off for some shopping in the luxury boutiques of the Champs Elysées, the Avenue du Faubourg St Honoré and the Avenue Victor Hugo! The beautiful Monceau Park, as well as the Grand Palais and Petit Palais are also set within walking distance. The hotel is housed in a traditional 7-storey building. Bivouac Café – wherever you are, at the marble and mahogany bar, on the sheltered terrace in the interior courtyard, its walls adorned with ivy and murmuring fountain, or sitting back in one of the restaurant’s wonderfully comfortable armchairs – the role of agreeably surprised gourmet comes naturally in such a snug and relaxed atmosphere. A breakfast buffet is included and served in the Bivouac Café from 7.15 a.m. until 10 a.m. on weekdays and from 7.30 a.m. until 11 a.m. during the weekend. These sunny, spacious luxury apartments have surface areas of 44 sqm and comprise a bedroom with a king-size bed or two single beds and a separate lounge containing a coffee table and a sofa-bed for two extra guests – an altogether delightful arrangement, and a boon when you get back from a shopping trip or would like to get down to a quiet spot of reading. Suites give on to the Avenue de Friedland or on to the hotel’s peaceful courtyard. Fully redecorated in 2006, rooms are given over to colour (raspberry pink, turquoise, and plum) and fine materials. Suites are air-conditioned and soundproofed for your greater comfort, and are perfect for a relaxing few days of real tranquillity. You will be sure to appreciate the marble and mahogany bathroom fitted with a spacious bathtub, the anti-allergy bed and bathroom linen decorated with the Napoleon effigy, the very practical hairdryer, and the boxed array of top-quality bathroom products.
