The Driades Apartments is perched on a hill providing stunning panoramic views just 150 m from the delightful village centre of Piskopiano with its, bars and taverns on the island paradise of Crete. Offering a peaceful atmosphere but close enough to the action in Hersnissos (a 20 minute walk down hill), this small attractive complex of self-catering studios and apartments is a good choice for families and couples looking for some quality time in natural surroundings on this beautiful island! Getting to the hotel: Heraklion Airport is 24 km from the Driades Apartments. Local tips: Piskopiano village has many taverns, offering traditional and international dishes, bars, cafes, shops and boutiques dotted through the little streets. The Cretan Golf Centre is about 3 km away and the palace of Knossos is 32 km away. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: The Hotel is booked as Self-Catering accommodation with an option for Bed and Breakfast. Driades Apartments has a great little a la carte restaurant with fabulous views, a large poolside snack bar and a weekly BBQ. A large Satellite TV featuring Sky Sports and BBC is in the lounge.
