CORTIJO DEL ALCAZAR

Cortijo del Alcázar is a small complex of 5 houses (apartments) cottages located in the Natural Park of Sierra Tejeda, Alhama and Almijara. It is ideal as a starting point to enjoy the potential of the natural park and the mountain, and the entire region of Axarquia can enjoy in minutes from the beach of La Viñuela Lake, or so picturesque villages as Alcaucín, Cómpeta, Nerja, La Viñuela, Nerja, Vélez-Malaga even the capital of Málaga and Granada are within 1 h. \'s drive. Our houses are located in a pine forest in the mountain. Each has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchenette, bathroom and a living room with a terrace where you can relax in front of the beautiful Lake Viñuela or which have a good time chatting by the fireplace. From the door of your accommodation several trails depart travel the Natural Park, including long distance footpath GR-242-Almijara Sierra de Tejeda (75.1 Km) or the climb to La Maroma (2,068 m.), Being the highest area of the province of Málaga. From the common areas of our facilities you can enjoy wonderful views and from the viewpoints put in the Natural Park (10 minute walk) you can spot raptors, squirrels, foxes, wild boars and the famous mountain goat, and other animals. Besides housing a few steps you can make a barbecue or enjoy a swim in the natural water pools of the Alcázar River, but if you prefer to practice water sports you can go to the Lake of La Viñuela and in 5 minutes be windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, etc. If what you like is the beach you\'ll be there in 20 minutes.The beach you will find just 20 minutes. Along the river and the swimming area have our restaurant \'Cortijo del Alcázar\' where we offer home-made meals that our families have taught us over the years, but giving them a personal touch.
