Portimao circuit is motorsport complex in the warm and sunny Algarve in the south of Portugal. It has been designed to be one of the highest specification facilities in Europe, with a focus on safety and a world class paddock complex.  It has hosted a round of the WSBK championship and is a favourite of the racers as well as track day enthusiasts. With what is described as a roller coaster layout, this exciting and unique track combines 9 right handers and 6 left handers in one fast flowing, wide ribbon of tarmac. The corners and straights follow each other at an exciting rhythm with vastly accentuated declines. The undulations of the circuit, some tricky cambers and blind crests make this a physical and demanding circuit, although its vast run off makes it very forgiving should the adrenaline get the better of you. If you want a break from two wheels there is a supurb Carting facility next door to keep you going.
