The Aragon circuit officially opened in 2009 and is part of a Motorland complex designed to become a motorsport mecca with multiple layouts, gravel tracks and karting facilities. Located 125 miles west of Barcelona in the rural region of Alcaniz and now a regular fixture for both MotoGP and World Superbikes. Designed with input from Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa and described by Valentino Rossi as "quite complicated but fun and fast". The track is wide, smooth and technically demanding with blind crests, changes in elevation and downhill corners.
