About Aragon

The Aragon circuit officially opened in 2009 and is part of a Motorland complex designed to become a motorsport mecca with multiple layouts, gravel tracks and karting facilities. Its located 125 miles west of Barcelona in the rural region of Alacaniz and is now a regular fixture for both MotoGP and World Superbikes. It was designed with input from Formula one driver Pedro de la Rosa and described by Valentino Rossi as "quite complicated but fun and fast". The track is wide, smooth and technically demanding with blind crests, changes in elevation and downhill corners. Turn 6 and 7 are reminiscent of the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. There are two fast straights, the longest being over a mile in length. The whole Motorland venue is state of the art with superb paddock facilities.

Riders will be staying in a 4 star hotel, room only, in the nearby town of Alcaniz. The hotel is only a five minute drive from the circuit.
