Frequently Asked Questions - European Events

What clothing do I need?

All riders must have a 360 degree (full zip together) leather suit or one piece, leather boots, gloves and ACU standard helmet.

Is there any age restrictions or licence requirements

Riders over the age of 18 are welcome and licences are not required however riders must be experienced in riding the bike they are riding on track.  Age 12 – 18 year olds are also welcome however they must hold an ACU licence equivalent to the size of machine they are riding on track

Are their any noise restrictions

Europeans circuits are more relaxed then UK circuits with the exception of Le Mans (102db) and Spa (100db).  We however recommend you follow the guidelines detailed on our circuit pages.

Is Instruction available?

No Limits offers free instruction on all circuits (excl Spa and Mugello).  Instruction can be booked anytime during the event.

Do I need to take my old tyres away from the circuit?

Most circuits do ask you to do this however No Limits will specify this during the briefing.

What if I don’t want a hotel or bike transport?

Packages can be amended during the booking process to deduct hotels and/or bike transport.

Extra stilledges may be available (dependent on space) and can be requested via No Limits.  Prices start at £239.

Are local pickups available?

Local pickups will be available and specified during the booking process.  Additional supplements will be charged.    

What if I can’t make the pickup/drop off?

If you cannot make the Swindon drop off please contact Hathaways 01793 688713 and they will try to accommodate you.  Bikes will however be left at the riders own risk and charges for storage may be applicable.

Do I need to do anything to my bike for transport or empty the fuel tank?

We ask all riders to remove screens when loading (to ensure no damage is caused).  Emptying of tanks are not required.

What insurance do I require?

All riders will require repatriation insurance for private track use (non timed).  Please ensure your insurance covers all dates on track and a copy should be brought to registration and remain at the circuit at all times while riding. Photo ID will also be required.  No Limits recommend properly protected however there are many companies providing this insurance.

What Services will be available at track?

No Limits aim to offer a full tyre service, photography and suspension.  This will be detailed during the briefing.  Pre- ordering of tyres is recommended and can be done via No Limits: racesupport@nolimitstrackdays.com.

Will I receive garage space and do I have to pay?

Some tracks do charge for garage space (e.g. Brno, Spa, Mugello, Le Mans, Slovakia Ring etc).  This will be specified during the booking process and garages can be booked during your bookign.  If not specified No Limits will endeavour to offer you garage space.

If I have a problem who do I speak to?

No Limits will always provide an event manager who is contactable during the event.   Alternatively No Limits office is available for any queries during office hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm).  

Are electrics available at the circuit?

Electrics within garages are available and the adapters vary dependent on circuit.  Please contact No Limits and we will be able to guide you on this.

What do I do if I’m running late or miss a day?

No Limits will be happy to sign riders on that arrive late at the circuit and will provide a one to one briefing and sighting laps.

Will my bike be scrutineered?

Scrutineering on trackdays is not required. We do however ask all riders to ensure bikes are track worthy and in good mechanical condition.

Do we do sighting laps on Europeans?

All riders will be required to do 3 sighting laps on the first morning of the event (excl Spa, Mugello).  No further sighting laps will be required unless requested or the circuit conditions change and further laps are deemed as required by the instructors/circuit).

When does the briefing take place?

On all events (excl Spa, Mugello) the briefing will take place on the first morning of the event.  Times will be confirmed on sign on.

Do I need to pay for parking?

Parking charges vary on location and some hotels unfortunately do charge for secure parking.  Please contact No Limits and we will be able to guide you as to the availability of this.

Is there secure parking?

Most circuits offer secure parking (security on gate) however vehicles are left at the drivers own risk.  Secure parking at hotels vary however please contact No Limits and we will be able to guide you as to the availability of this.

Can I camp at the circuit?

Camping is normally accepted at circuits however we recommend you contact us to confirm.

Can I bring my dog?

Most Europeans are relaxed about animals (excl tigers and elephants) however they must be on a lead.

Can my partner, friends or family come?

Yes ofcourse, friends and partners are very welcome.  Additional accommodation can be booked during the booking process.  Children are welcome at the circuit however under 16’s will unfortunately not be allowed on pitlane during the trackday.

Do I load my own stilledge and what do I need to do?

Yes, stilledges are loaded by customers.  No Limits request that you remove the screen and use clear shrink wrap to ensure your belongings remain within the stilledge.  We also recommend all riders label their items. 

Most stilledges are double stilledges therefore we ask all riders to be courteous when loading. Please see the video on our website for further guidelines.  We also recommend blankets are used to place over the tank. 

Customers should take their own straps and shrink wrap however they are also available for purchase at Hathaways Swindon drop off.

A manifest (provided online) should be completed and taken to your drop off and a copy kept for your records.

Will my bike be secure overnight?

All garages during the event will be locked overnight.  Once you have unloaded in the garage your bike/belongings will remain there for the duration of the event.

When can I unload?

Unloading of your stilledge will take place the morning of the event.  The event manager will update you on sign on as to the time of access however this is normally 7am the morning of the trackday.

Can I book extra nights?

Extra nights at the hotel (if accommodation is available within the package) should be booked during the booking process.  Availability will be detailed during the booking process.

Is Fuel available?

No Limits will provide fuel cans on most European circuits (excl Spa, Mugello and Le Mans).  There will be a non refundable hire fee of €5 per can.  The fuel can is available for use for the entire event and should be filled at the local services or fuel station on site (if available).  Fuel availability on site varies however please enquire and we will be happy to inform you where the local station is. 

Do you provide any refreshments?

No Limits will always endeavour to provide complementary Tea & Coffee at the circuits.

Food

Breakfast is offered if specified within the package.  Alternatively this can be added on arrival with the hotel directly (charges applicable).  Most circuits have a café which offer refreshments however we also recommend stocking up on water/snacks at the local supermarket before your trackday starts.

Are flights and transfers included?

No, flights and transfers should be booked separately. 

Do you use timing?

No Limits use a timing system on most European events.  The system is used to internally manage the groups and No Limits will not automatically re-group riders.  Riders should choose the group that is suitable to their experience at the time of the booking.  The aim of the timing system is to highlight specific riders that may be more comfortable riding in a different group.  Times will not be issued to riders.  On sign on a barcode will be issued to each rider.

When is registration and what do I need to have with me ?

Riders will need to complete the registration form (supplied by No Limits at the event), Circuit registration form (as applicable), proof of repatriation insurance and passport.  Wristbands and a timing barcode will be issued during this process.  Wristbands must be worn at all times.

Do I need to send my Registration form to the office before I travel?

Registration forms will be available during sign on and should be completed at this time.

Will I be given wristbands to wear?

All riders are issued wristbands corresponding with the group you are riding in during sign on.  No Limits will also issue a briefing sticker (corresponding with the group you are riding in) during the briefing session which should be placed on your bike.  If wristbands are lost another wristband will be issued by the administrator before you can ride on track.

What if I don't have anyone to share my room with?

If you haven’t already informed us of your rooming requirements, you will be put in a twin room with another rider. If a twin share cannot be found, you will be booked into a single room which will incur a single room supplement charge. It is therefore imperative that you inform us 6 weeks prior to the event date of any additional nights or changes to confirm availability. 

What nights are included in the package cost?

Each event varies however if a hotel is offered within the package it will normally include the first and second night of the trackday (based on a 3 day event).   Additional nights (night before/after the event) can be added online during the booking process.

Is the hotel included in my package?

Most European circuits (excl Spa & Le Mans) include accommodation and this will be stated within the booking process.  No Limits will offer a minimum of a 3* hotel within the package specified.
