About Le Mans
Le Mans is arguably the most famous motorsport venue in the world being the home of 24 hour car racing since 1926. The Bugatti circuit is a permanant race track built in 1965 to allow racing all year round at the site, without disrupting the public roads that form the most longer, temporary, 24 hour circuit. It shares a pit complex and northwest section with the longer circuit, including the Dunlop chicane with its iconic bridge. Having under gone revisions and improvements over the year, notably with a view to safety and increased run off, the circuit now hosts a MotoGP round each year as well as the 24 hour motorcycle race. The layout, with medium speed corners and high speed straights, makes for an entertaining circuit in a venue steeped in motorsport history.
