The Ilma Hotel just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Malia, 750 metres from the main nightlife and 250 metres from the beach, so you're never far from the action as and when you want it. The Ilma Hotel is a great place to chill out during the day with a decent-sized pool and plenty of sunbeds, The bar serves up an English breakfast, snacks and ice-cool drinks accompanied by a relaxing chillout soundtrack. The 24 rooms are basic but bright and comfortable. All have private facilities, a fridge and a balcony or terrace. Malia is divided into 2 parts ¿ a relaxed old town with traditional houses and tavernas and the newer area near the beach, which is livelier, with cafes, bars, discos and shops. There is a selection of water sports available on the beach.
