Here in the sunny south of the island, the resort enjoys a particularly convenient location - just a short drive from all the attractions offered by the popular tourist centres of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos and not far from Reina Sofia airport. On the doorstep, golfers can enjoy the many challenges of the 27-hole Golf del Sur. Within a few minutes drive of the resort is the traditional fishing village of Los Abrigos, with its fabulous seafood restaurants lining the little harbour. And all along the Costa del Silencio towards the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes, you can discover some beautiful beaches to stop off and enjoy the sun. Tenerife’s water sports facilities are legendary and the dolphin and whale safaris make a memorable day trip. Then there are bird sanctuaries, gardens, horse riding, and island tours, never forgetting the awesome lava fields of Mount Teide National Park. There’s just so much to see on Tenerife, including the fascinating capital and working port of Santa Cruz and the famous old town of Puerto de la Cruz, it’s no wonder the island is such a popular year-round choice. Apartments at Sunningdale Village come complete with light, modern décor and comfortable furnishings. Living areas feature a DVD player, satellite TV, telephone, hairdryer, iron & board and safe, while kitchenettes are equipped with a hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. Some units have a fridge/freezer, portable air-conditioners are available for hire on site. Free wi-fi connection is also available in the bar area. The age of the babies is from 0 to 2 years inclusive, they will sleep in a cot, the hotel doesn’t charge a extra fee for it. With a dramatic backdrop of hills dominated by Spain’s highest mountain, Mount Teide, Sunningdale Village is set on the edge of the green oasis that is the magnificent Golf del Sur resort. Los Rodeos, 75 km Directions by Road: On leaving Reina Sofia airport, follow signs to Los Cristianos. Take exit T62 to Los Abrigos and Las Galletas and follow signs to Los Abrigos T65. Turn off at the sign for Golf del Sur. Once in Golf del Sur, turn left after Las Adelfas I. Follow signs to Club La Costa at Sunningdale Village. Directions by Public Transport: A taxi rank is situated directly outside the arrivals terminal at both airports.
