The restoration of this former magistrate's building has been carried out thoughtfully and several features including the original courtroom and cells have been retained. The hotel also features its own private cinema, which is unique in London, as well as an extensive spa facility. Overall, one of the best new hotels to open in recent years in an excellent location. (08/07/RPL) The hotel is ideally located very close to Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Soho on a reasonably quiet side street just a couple of minutes walk from the underground station at Oxford Circus (Victoria and Central lines). All of the medium to large-sized bedrooms are air conditioned and are decorated to an exceptional standard using modern neutral colours. All rooms have fireplaces and flat screen televisions whilst some also have the additional features of a jet bath and separate seating area. Bathrooms are again in exceptional condition and feature bathrobes and designer toiletries. This building is a former magistrate's court and has retained much of its original facade. The hotel has three restaurants offering differing styles of cuisine from fine dining to relaxed brasserie style. There is also a unique rooftop bar, offering a retreat from the noise and traffic of Soho and the surrounding area. The lobby is bright and welcoming.
