Nestled within an extraordinary nature reserve, the hotel offers warm hospitality and a wealth of nature, culture and experience unlike any other. Guests will be close to all the excitement of the Riviera Maya in this exclusive private resort, where the ocean is right on the doorstep, the spa is just down the hall and the best dining around is at guests' service. Built in 2008, the property is air-conditioned and comprises a total of 273 guest rooms. Facilities on offer include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a café, a bar and a games room. There is also a TV lounge, a restaurant, conference facilities, a kids' club and bicycle hire. Room service is available and, for a small additional fee, guests can make use of the laundry service. There is ample parking for those arriving by car.Each room features 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed, a flat-screen satellite TV, a CD and DVD player, a coffee maker, individually adjustable air conditioning, a living area with sofa bed, and a terrace or private balcony. Other in-room amenities include an iron and ironing board, an in-room safe large enough to accommodate a laptop computer, an alarm clock with iPod adapter, Internet access (with extra charge), purified bottled water, a vanity mirror with light, a pillow menu and a hairdryer. An en suite bathroom, a direct dial telephone, a radio and a minibar come as standard.
To get to the resort from Cancun's International Airport. The estimated driving time is around 45 minutes. There is only one exit road from Cancun airport. As you leave the airport, take the on-ramp to the right, which approaches coastal highway 307 and leads to the Riviera Maya. The sign reads Playa del Carmen and/or Tulum, Chetumal. This highway takes guests to all points south of the Riviera Maya, including this resort. The large resort sign is on the left side of the road. Playa del Carmen is only 15 minutes south of the resort. Take coastal highway 307 north towards Cancun. The large resort sign is on the right side of the road.
There is an outdoor swimming pool with children's paddling section on the hotel grounds. Refreshments are available from the poolside snack bar and guests can relax on the sun loungers, which are laid out poolside with parasols. Sports enthusiasts can work out in the on-site gym. Facilities are provided for tennis, volleyball or beach volleyball, and there is a programme of entertainment organised for guests of all ages. For an additional fee, guests can relax in the sauna and steam room or with a massage or spa treatment, or go riding, scuba diving, windsurfing, sailing or catamaran sailing.
